The Science Of Scare 2025 List. Looks like the science of scare project people are back again this year, but they've done a video game study too as well. What are the scariest movies of all time?

For the first two years of the science of scare project, we screened 40 films each year from our list, ranking the top 30 scariest movies ever made, based on the heartrate impact. A list of 25 films compiled on letterboxd, including sinister (2012), insidious (2010), the conjuring (2013), hereditary (2018) and paranormal activity (2007).
